18 days ago, a number of users of the server called “beige.party“ reported my account, because they falsely believed I was involved in a doxxing incident where information about @HarriettMB@beige.party was shared on Bluesky.
Luckily, Harriett and several other users later realized, that I was not the cause of the doxxing, and they decided to unblock me. But then the administrator of “beige.party” found all their reports about me, and I am now suspended by the entire server.

Randahl FinkThis week several users of the “beige.party” server have expressed frustration because they can no longer see my posts, fearing I have blocked them.
So in a last ditch effort, I have now sent a long letter explaining the unfortunate incident to admin @theropologist@beige.party.
My point is, this is something @Gargron@mastodon.social and his team should take into consideration. Currently, users can report others, but they cannot take back their report, if they realize they were wrong.
This design flaw caused this.

Randahl FinkToday, CNN is trying to make a scandal out of normal zoo practices in Denmark.
Just like snake owners in the US will feed dead mice to their snakes, several Danish zoos have a program where people can hand in, say a goat, a rabbit or a chicken, which is then humanely euthanized before fed to the lions and other zoo predators.
In Denmark, humans also eat butchered chicken themselves — often with salt and paprika — but PLEASE do not tell a CNN Journalist.

Randahl FinkThis new technology fascinates me: E-ink displays are now coming as large posters, which means they do not require a wire, and you can change the poster picture 1000 times before recharging.
This is so much better for the climate than using a tv for art in the livingroom.

Randahl FinkThe war with Russia has made bomb shelters a hot topic in Denmark. An investigation has revealed, that many communes do not have enough bomb shelters for all citizens.
While Ballerup Commune has a shelter space for each citizen, the small Læsø Commune has no bomb shelters, and many communes fall somewhere in between.
My commune Vejle only offers bomb shelters for 53 percent of our 122,000 citizens.

Unfortunately I made a thumbnail picture for it, that did not work, so while hundreds of people from Mastodon watched the video, no one on YouTube did.
