Today, CNN is trying to make a scandal out of normal zoo practices in Denmark.
Just like snake owners in the US will feed dead mice to their snakes, several Danish zoos have a program where people can hand in, say a goat, a rabbit or a chicken, which is then humanely euthanized before fed to the lions and other zoo predators.
In Denmark, humans also eat butchered chicken themselves — often with salt and paprika — but PLEASE do not tell a CNN Journalist.
