Mastodon design flaw:

18 days ago, a number of users of the server called “beige.party“ reported my account, because they falsely believed I was involved in a doxxing incident where information about @HarriettMB@beige.party was shared on Bluesky.

Luckily, Harriett and several other users later realized, that I was not the cause of the doxxing, and they decided to unblock me. But then the administrator of “beige.party” found all their reports about me, and I am now suspended by the entire server.

This week several users of the “beige.party” server have expressed frustration because they can no longer see my posts, fearing I have blocked them.

So in a last ditch effort, I have now sent a long letter explaining the unfortunate incident to admin @theropologist@beige.party.

My point is, this is something @Gargron@mastodon.social and his team should take into consideration. Currently, users can report others, but they cannot take back their report, if they realize they were wrong.

This design flaw caused this.
