Bread almost ready to go into the oven.
#Sourdough I've been nursing along for the latter part of the week, until I found time to get it to the loafiness state.
I went very high hydration here, so rather fragile. It'll be touch-and-go: if I touch it, it'll go off.
In honour of #DickVanDyke's birthday, I name this batch: "Super fragile, but delicious, exception-ally toasty."

I've got lots of bread to bake coming up! This batch of sourdough, a batch of rye, and two batches of challah.

Today's #oddBunch received. Looking forward to the pomegranates. And kiwis seem to be about $1 each these days, so that's a nice value there.
Yikes, the wind is crazy tonight. I guess our house has been here for 75 yrs, so presumably it's withstood some serious wind before, so I'll try not to worry.
Might collect some stones for my pockets to ensure I don't blow away with it.

My #BambuLab is my third 3D printer and it's really great for my 3D printing with the super fast speed, very quiet operation and consistently good results. Really like it after nearly a year of use.
BUT - I wish that at the end of a print it offered me not just "OK" and "Reprint" but "Print again w same calibration."
I mean it just finished a 5min print job w 10min calibrating β I'm sure it'd be fine to doing it again right away without making me wait. I'd live with any drift.

Hmm - not going well. Replacement latch bolt has some differences I need to accommodate. Will get there with extra effort.
So my replacement latch (bolt that slides out of door) doesn't have a face plate on it! Bit dishonest to call the part a replacement for my model which does, I gotta say. βΉ

Don't often see deadbolts like this; a newer thing? Installer doesn't need to have chisel skills to mount it I guess.
Does your door have one of these?
Looked around a bit β not very common. You'd think you lose a bit of strength w/o a plate, tho' I suppose if someone is going to break thru a bolted door, a minor diff?
Taking advantage of the unusually warm day to work on our front door. The deadbolt needs a bit of attention, and it'll be open a bit while I rework it.

Jeez, Toronto city hall looks a little more oppressive than how I remembered itβ¦

Okay, delivery was received (water heater tank). Thankfully no yeeting was involved.
Maybe that was the text message's yoP meaning: "yeeting other phings."
