Ross of OttawaSo my replacement latch (bolt that slides out of door) doesn't have a face plate on it! Bit dishonest to call the part a replacement for my model which does, I gotta say. ☹

Don't often see deadbolts like this; a newer thing? Installer doesn't need to have chisel skills to mount it I guess.

Looked around a bit – not very common. You'd think you lose a bit of strength w/o a plate, tho' I suppose if someone is going to break thru a bolted door, a minor diff?
