@FediTips@social.growyourown.services Yes, I'm using advanced mode to have multiple feeds. And I did save the settings multiple times and it didn't fix it.

Could you try doing all this again in the non-advanced mode? I'm trying to narrow down where the problem might be

@FediTips@social.growyourown.services Just did and it did not fix it. All the groups are still showing up in my home feed.

Okay, thanks for trying!

Might need to ask the maintainer of the software in that case.

Hey
@hello@fedigroups.social there's a case here where someone has followed a group from fedigroups.social and it is showing up in their Home timeline despite being on a List and the list being set to hide from Home. (Thread begins above at https://dragonscave.space/@Eeveecraft/115917012291401543 )

Do you know if this is typical behaviour? Is there any chance this is a bug at your end?

I've tried a few different server types and they all work as I would expect them to.

* Create a list
* Add the group Name to the List
* Ask the List to Hide from the Timeline.

They posts for the group then appear only in the list.

I even tried this on the mastodon flagship server (mastodon.social) and it worked.

V odd that you are not getting those results.

Some server take a little while for the list rules to take affect -- max 30 minutes
