@FediTips@social.growyourown.services Could you tell me what this space with an ellipsis is, that shows up between two posts sometimes? If I click on it it disappears, but that is all that happens. Accessing Mastodon.social via a browser.

It just means that the timeline hasn't updated recently. It disappears when the timeline automatically updates, and if it gets stuck you can click on it to force a manual update (which also makes it disappear).
