Most rooms are empty or ransacked, but the top-floor classroom makes the detour in the blistering Italian summer heat worthwhile! The spectacular painted ceiling details, cute wooden desks, tiny chairs and retro wall map all make for a fascinating time capsule to explore and photograph.

@ObsidianUrbex@mstdn.social I noticed that the map shows Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia (rather than Soviet Union), but still shows Yugoslavia. This helps find out when the school was abandoned

Oh thats some good detective work there! Guess that places the map to early 90s like 91 or 92?

Edit: maybe I'm going the wrong way, this was likely before the USSR šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

@sabrinaweb71@sociale.network @ObsidianUrbex@mstdn.social Poland has what looks to be its post WWI to 1939 border. There is a chunk of Germany above Poland. It is Ukraine and Russia, not USSR. Crimea appears to be Russian. Iā€™m guessing sometime between the wars, but maybe 1920.
