@ObsidianUrbex@mstdn.social I noticed that the map shows Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia (rather than Soviet Union), but still shows Yugoslavia. This helps find out when the school was abandoned

Oh thats some good detective work there! Guess that places the map to early 90s like 91 or 92?

Edit: maybe I'm going the wrong way, this was likely before the USSR 🤣

@ObsidianUrbex@mstdn.social at first I thought 90s too, but then I looked at Poland... no, it isn't the 90s. Italy has Trento and Trieste, so it's after 1918, but before Russia became USSR

Edit: you said that this place is abandoned since the 60s so it can't possibly be the 90s

True, but that's only an estimate. Likewise, someone could have brought the map later and placed it there. As unlikely as it sounds, it could post date the schools abandonment.

Unlikely you may think? Some had placed a new globe in this very school now, a year or so ago. People do odd things for a photo 😅
