It gives a hint to canvassers of the PIRG grift and that can be helpful.
In case you are new to any given area, a PIRG is where out of town graduate students get to cash in for a few months by supervising locals begging for money.
They don't give a fuck about local issues and are reading off a script. Opportunist parasites who pay college debt with the efforts of idealistic leftist kids.
