This is INFURIATING! I have used this app JUST FINE and safely for literally over a year! Why must you give me issues now? Why must you also ignore all of my app settings that tell you to stop doing this?
FUCK OFF GOOGLE AND LET ME USE WHATEVER GODDAMN APP I WANT 
If anyone knows an actually simple way that doesn't involve getting root access to my phone to bypass the ridiculous "get this app from play" garbage google has... I really could use it as nothing else suggested online works as of now.

@JessTheUnstill@infosec.exchange See, that's the silly bit! I've had it installed from there for quite some time. Now all of a sudden, if I try to use it in any way, it tells me I have to "get this app on Play" and won't let me use it in any capacity.
It seems to use some sort part of Google Play to function, so I can't just keep it off the whole time. But even if I disable it while downloading or turn the Play safety scan part of the software off... It just still suddenly won't let me in. Can't figure out a good workaround yet.
