@imp3tuz@mastodon.gamedev.place yessss exactly on the cyberpunk dystopia being some people's utopia thing! For me, in my area there is a ton of military shit so the "defcon" thing started making me think of the military connection even before I knew it was a hacker con, so that's probably why
