I am steeling myself to go to Sephora, because I can't find my foundation and realized that I am 99.9% sure I tossed it last year after I had Covid. (This also tells you how often I put on makeup anymore, LOL.)
The good news is that I at least know the exact shade number, and I checked online and it is in stock, so in theory, I should be in and out in no time, with minimal damage to my bank balance.

I firmly blame Betty & Julie of Trustbank FSB where I worked in college for taking me to the Clinique counter at Macy’s for the first time and telling me that it was way better than drugstore makeup. (They weren’t wrong - wasn’t much in the way of hypoallergenic stuff at the drugstore then and it was 50/50 if I was gonna react to it.)
30+ years later I’m out here buying Fenty & Urban Decay like I don’t work remotely and maybe do up my face three times a year. 🤣
