The good news is that I at least know the exact shade number, and I checked online and it is in stock, so in theory, I should be in and out in no time, with minimal damage to my bank balance.

I firmly blame Betty & Julie of Trustbank FSB where I worked in college for taking me to the Clinique counter at Macy’s for the first time and telling me that it was way better than drugstore makeup. (They weren’t wrong - wasn’t much in the way of hypoallergenic stuff at the drugstore then and it was 50/50 if I was gonna react to it.)
30+ years later I’m out here buying Fenty & Urban Decay like I don’t work remotely and maybe do up my face three times a year. 🤣
Play Ball and Fight FascistsBut I have primer, foundation, eyeliner, and a very good replacement for my beloved discontinued mascara. (I was so mad when it disappeared, it was one of the only mascaras I'd found that didn't look like a tarantula was sitting on my eyes.)

It's Clinique's lash power mascara - I put it on the moment I got home and it goes on very smooth with no clumps at all, and it looks good even without any eyelash primer. (I usually use the Clinique primer, too.)
