@mcc@mastodon.social Yes, vividly and in full colour. Complete with sounds, physical sensations and smells, which are often the trigger for predominantly visual recollections or "premonitions" (I mean this in the non-supernatural sense of imagining a possible outcome).
I've known people with aphantasia who've tried to explain what it's like, and am unable to grasp it. I'm utterly unable to even begin to comprehend "thinking" without being able to mentally explore virtual realities. That is thinking for me.
