WHAT THE GODDAMN FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, RECAPTCHA
I don't know who to hear this but the reason why Bluesky is beating Mastodon among many broad communities is because Bluesky did a better job of anticipating user desires
Hey so guess who has blue hair, pronouns, and as of exactly 39 minutes ago Canadian citizenship
You know what would be really cool is if I had a position of emotional and financial stability from which to attempt creative endeavors
Oh… I'm "trending"

In GNOME, I can use alt-tab to switch to the next application and alt- to switch to the next window. However, "next" in this case follows a "stack" logic; it always goes to the *most recently used* window or application. This means I effectively cannot access more than 1 window at a time, because if I press alt- then a second later press alt-` again this is a NOOP.
Is there a way to change the "next" behavior from Stack to "List" (EG, rotate through windows in order opened)?
I logged out of YouTube so that I could participate in a very-poorly-organized 1 day boycott (due to YouTube somehow managing to combine AI with censorship).
I then immediately discovered I'd been logged out of gmail.
Fucking google
Does anyone want to play "Wrath of the Gods", an impressive-in-concept, dorky-in-execution, extremely 1994 CD-ROM "Multimedia" point and click adventure consisting entirely of photos/video of humans bluescreened into computer-created environments

Because it turns out there's a fully functional HTML5 version on the web!
If I try to post on the Automattic bug tracker am I gonna get banned for saying on Mastodon that I don't like Matt Mullenweg's vibes
Posted it. I guess if you like reading detective stories in the form of a bug report, you can read this:
https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/63825
Despite my fears the wordpress bug reporter is quite painless to use, except for the fact that while trying to figure out what my wordpress.org username was in 2008 so I could log in I had to log into my deadname's email, which did feel a little bit like putting my heart in a garbage disposal and turning it on, but that is not Automattic's fault
Okay. I experimented with this, and I've now found that I can get into the bad state and out of the bad state, and I believe I have a "repro". So now I have a question: Should I place my hand into a garbage disposal and turn it on? Sorry, let me rephrase that. Should I try reporting a bug on the Automattic bug tracker?
