So I’m wearing my miniskirt on the train and wishing I had my tattoo on the backs of my thighs of the cute bow tie with a line going down to my knee like a silk stocking seam.
I talked about that here and someone dropped into my mentions with an angry post about “no it’s not 1950 anymore” and another was like “eww the war is over” and…
I hate to admit that shit got to me. Like I didn’t get it because I was like “well I guess they’re right.” And how fucked up is that?

That sounds so cute and sexy, and also it being a tattoo makes it punk bc it's not like women in the 1950s were getting sexy tattoos under their miniskirts like…I wish they would stop policing harmless stuff like this and use that energy more helpfully. But all people like that ever wanted was to be the person controlling others, not to free anyone from control (including themselves).
