So we do have to find an electrician to put in a 240v line and receptacle in the garage, but in the meantime,
Wow we're filling up the car tank/battery via a regular 110v plug point in the kitchen near the garage

@SRDas@mastodon.online In most houses, longterm heavy load as EV charging on the house wirering may heat up cables to point of insulation melting or assembly points glowing leading to a fire breakout.
A properly dimensioned and directly routed wirering is highly recommended for any form of EV charging.
Besides that, congratulations with your EV. If it is anything but a Muskrat POS, I am sure it will be a joyful experience π₯³![]()
