Whaaa?! There’s a #cdrama remake of one of the best #kdrama ever - My Mister - coming in 2025?!

It even has a poster out! ‘Loving Strangers’ starring Mark Chao and Zhang Zifeng.

I am really torn about this… The 2018 kdrama - starring IU as FL - is still on my absolute fave kdramas list.

And a monument to the work of its ML, Lee Sun Kyun, RIP.

@AnnaAnthro@mastodon.social Wow. I mean the premise would certainly work in another culture and country, but it’s hard to top perfection! I’ll see what folks think. I’ve been watching 100% #kdrama, with the language learning to supplement.

Yeah, I think so. Same same, but different, as they say in a couple of other Asian countries. China is a massive market, and I can see them wanting their own take on the story. I'm in no hurry to watch Cdrama, but if folks like yourself think it's excellent, I may check it out in the future.
