Depuis 2 jours la médication fonctionne moins bien. Je surveille pour voir si c’est parce que je m’y habitue (je peux augmenter la dose si besoin) ou parce que c’est relié à mon cycle. Et étant en périménopause ça n’aide pas. À suivre!

Je relis ADD-Friendly Ways to Organize Your Life que j’avais lu il y a des années. Et maintenant que je prends de la médication pour le #TDAH je comprends tellement mieux plein de choses qui y sont mentionnées! 😂
Mais je vois aussi que sans le savoir je compensais déjà grâce à certaines astuces. Je vais tester d’autres suggestions, on verra bien!

I'm rereading ADD-Friendly Ways to Organize Your Life, which I read years ago. And now that I'm taking #ADHD medication, I understand so much better a lot of the things mentioned there! 😂
But I see also that without knowing it, I was already compensating with certain tips. I'm going to try other suggestions, we'll see!
@adelinej@piaille.fr I find it quite interesting when adults learn they are #ADHD (or #ActuallyAutistic), often they've already developed an impressive arsenal of accommodations. People know what they need to function, even if they don't know why. People are kind of amazing, really.

Yes. Although, that doesn't stop many of the things we've learnt to do, coming with an unhealthy dollop with guilt, for having to live that way.
