like sure, a bunch of these are places i can, did, and would still block if i was still running w.l proper, but the real insidious thing with these people is they block all the instances with racial slurs in their name then put instances full of of transfemmes and people who commit the high crime of running pleroma on the same level of block

i have spent the majority of my adult life and even some of my pre-adult life running spaces for people online and carving out a place i can call home, i have never found this as difficult and unrewarding as when i made a fediverse instance

i mean, i can't lie. i had some good times. running w.l was very fun for a while, we had a healthy community, great mix of people, and despite what certain people tell you, more people of color and people of various marginalized identities than i suspect was typical for a fediverse instance. the HOA of the fediverse couldn't stand that though. marginalized people having fun and building community? this cannot stand!

anyway just a reminder that my high crimes that deemed the hundreds of people on witches.live as "racists" was spelling piñata correctly and being annoyed with people putting me on blast for a user that was immediately banned once i found out (and being annoyed i wasn't told directly, sooner)
