Do the TERFs look at this and think, "This is good!" in their twisted sense of things?

The shift in culture resulting from their concerted efforts to reshape society during the Tory years looks abhorrent to me rather than in any conceivable way good. I try to understand others' motivations and perspectives when I disagree but I find it so hard with this one.

It's been some time since I quit reddit so I shouldn't care too much, but yet more signal here of how shit they are.

I've seen folks praising reddit as a human-led site with more authentic content than elsewhere on the web. I got a nostalgic pang reading that, but alas, it isn't so to anyone embedded in the site's culture. It's a dark and horrid place, even ignoring spez.

And here contributing to a more centralised, more closed web.

Because I punctuated the protest Saturday with a lot of whisky, and because I'm in my forties now and hangovers last multiple days, I've not yet edited a single photograph from it.

I'd bet on this being accurate.

Trump's understanding of economics is childlike. He's encouraging inflation, higher supply chain costs, reduced trade, and lower productivity, while viewing global economics as zero-sum transactional and having a focus on securing access to natural resources — as with the Ukrainian minerals deal/extortion.

I fear Ukraine is about to be sold down the river in exchange for Arctic drilling rights.

I'm not always Bono's biggest fan, but his piece in The Atlantic on the Gaza conflict is nuanced and largely right. I'd quibble over some of the language but I'd happily associate with this piece.
