It's been some time since I quit reddit so I shouldn't care too much, but yet more signal here of how shit they are.
I've seen folks praising reddit as a human-led site with more authentic content than elsewhere on the web. I got a nostalgic pang reading that, but alas, it isn't so to anyone embedded in the site's culture. It's a dark and horrid place, even ignoring spez.
And here contributing to a more centralised, more closed web.
