Madeline Hashcubeok I did --build-host on my laptop because my root password isn't getting registered on my desktop computer and it seems to be working. there are little spikes of lag, but not as much as when I didn't have --build-host sooooooo... 🤷♀️

Madeline HashcubeDay 1 of working on the laptop: I got almost nowhere. I did however get the base config all squared away. it messes up at the bootloader whenever I try to use my flake-ified config. I might just try it with no modules, then gradually add more. it could also be a problem with my main machine using grub and the laptop automatically choosing to use systemd-boot. I legit cannot keep working on this, I will fry my brains.
