ok I did --build-host on my laptop because my root password isn't getting registered on my desktop computer and it seems to be working. there are little spikes of lag, but not as much as when I didn't have --build-host sooooooo... 🤷♀️

I might just have to wait for the horrendous build time with like 4GB of ram. I'm gonna research what ram this laptop takes so that I can upgrade it

or maybe not??? I just specified my user in the build host and it recognized my password. I hope that the thing that happened earlier doesn't happen again
