@nileane@nileane.fr Yeah. I heard it live, and it made me angry enough to actually pay for a membership just to be able to say that comment about queer employees. Glad they picked it up, but disappointed how they dismissed it.
It’s true, Apple is still better than others (no change in DEI policies, still releasing products themed with queer flag colors), but that’s a low, low bar.

@nileane@nileane.fr In the chat, people said that if Cook resisted more, heβ€˜d get fired and replaced by someone more in line with Trumpβ€˜s regime, so this is actually the best he can do. If thatβ€˜s realistic, I guess that’s a good argument? But I have no idea if it is.
