Regular reminder that "embrace, extend, extinguish" was invented by Microsoft.
Now, Microsoft says it is "embracing" Linux and open source in general.
Be afraid. Be very afraid.
I wrestle penguins and spiky fishes for a living. Very cranky old *nix geek with a beard. You know the type. (now, get off my lawn!).

The truth is, git is extremely simple to use, as long as you don't do anything with it.

Yeah, we are all pretty much raving lunatics around here.
Also: geeks, nerds, queers, trans and assorted weirdoes. And cat lovers. Adorable people one and all.
Croatia, day 7: Split.
Interesting contrast between the old city, with its medieval streets and Roman buildings and the rest of the town, which is more of a very utilitarian socialist style.
And Saint Grgur of Nin is going to excommunicate your butt to Hvar and back if you make jokes about his name!
Also: I now understand why @eurobsdcon@exquisite.tube is taking place in Zagreb! 😉![]()

On the way to Split, walking the narrow streets of Trogir is quite an experience.
Fortunately, I am in the shade most of the time, so my sunburns don't get any worse...

Croatia, day 5: Pakostane, Kornati islands.
You will have to take my word for it, but it was gorgeous.
I have acquired strange new superpowers: I now have a faint pinkish glow at night, and I can probably generate a faint amount of energy due to the heat of a thousand and one sunburns.

Croatia, day 4: Zadar.
Ottoman vibes intensify.

Totally worth it though.

Croatia, day 3: Plitvice
Still red and sore all over.
Totally worth it though.
Croatia, day 2: Karlovac.
The pain of the sunburns is rising.
