We've got a cat that we are fairly sure has dementia. (we don't know how old she is exactly but it's assumed she's around 18 years old.)

Stares at walls and food for long periods.
Defecation and urination in odd places.
Forgets what it wanted to do.

I think it may be time to say "goodbye" soon.
