Here's my revised #introduction ...

I'm a 56yr old dude, in the Lebowski line of dudes, who will post just about any absurd thought that comes into my mind.

Although I promote kindness and mental health care, I will also post my hot takes on anything from tv shows to asking if butts will save our future? (the answer is yes)

I like to think of myself as "Mister Rogers with no filter". I'm just a nice guy who thinks you'd look wonderful in a purple merkin.

When challenging someone's perspective stop and ask yourself these questions...

1) What do I understand about the others perspective?
2) What do I understand about my own perspective?
3) Could I be wrong?
4) What do I want the other to understand about my perspective?
5) What do I want the other to understand about their own perspective?

If you find yourself skipping the first three, you're not really trying to have a discussion and may want to check your ego.

So today I am opening my #PeerTube instance to limited registration.

At this moment I'm looking to add 4 new people. New users will be given 5 gigs to start with. More may be given according to need and finances. Live streaming IS available.

I'm looking for people who want to create content for PeerTube, not people who just want to use it as a backup for their YouTube channel.

Hey if you're using a linktree or something similar, consider putting a link to https://fediverse.info and just call it "What is the Fediverse?".

It's a good way to grab peoples attention and possible interest.

The Fediverse is powered by people, and that's who needs to help let others know about it.

I decided to have some fun with html and do something with my "mrfunkedude.com" domain. So I paid the $5 to be a neocities.org supporter (because I like what they are doing) and in return it gave me more space and the ability to attach my domain to it.

Check out the "about funk" block. 😉
