Oh hey, I mentioned building an extra work surface/bench for the garage a few weeks ago. It's right next to my #workshop, so very convenient, with an adjoining door.
I intended to watch the thrift shops for a cheap, basic, high, stool that would work in the space. Not fancy and upholstered, but utilitarian and solid.
Into a thrift shop after lunch today and found the perfect one. Bent plywood seat and back, steel frame and folding! That latter feature a bonus for compact storage…

It was $15 and on for half-price today! So $8.50 later I'm all set. A stroke of luck.
