Are you following an account that does good posts, but you don't want to see their boosts of other people's posts?
You can mute just an account's boosts without muting its own posts by doing the following:
1. Go to the profile of the account whose boosts you want to hide
2. Click on the ⋯ button on their profile
3. Select "Hide boosts"
(New people: "Boosts" are the name for shared posts on here. They mean the same as re-tweets or re-blogs.)

Whoever came up with boosts needs big applause - cool word and cool tool. And it's neat integration - ease of use, and factual presentation - makes it very valuable.
@FediTips@social.growyourown.services or do yourself an even bigger favor and hide ALL boosts from your home feed. I am on Android web browser so I don't know if it's the same on the apps
p.s. This option is only visible for accounts you are following.
If you're not following an account you aren't seeing their boosts in your home timeline anyway, so there's no point showing the option 🙂
@FediTips@social.growyourown.services boosts? I think you mean re-toots.

By the way, how do I unlink my mastdodon account from bluesky?
I don't remember how I linked it, although I do remember that I linked it (and no interaction resulted from this).
@FediTips@social.growyourown.services There are accounts where I would like to get notifications of their boosts in addition to their own posts. Am I missing a setting or is this a feature that Mastodon doesn't have (yet)?
@FediTips@social.growyourown.services This doesn't seem possible with Tusky?

@FediTips@social.growyourown.services Any idea whether the opposite is possible? At least once I wanted to see someone's boosts, but not necessarily their posts.

For some reason it was never called retooting, it was always just boosting... don't know why!
@BDeutelmoser@gruene.social
As far as I know you can only be notified for their own posts (by clicking the bell icon). There's no boost notification.

@FediTips@social.growyourown.services I think that's a shame, but I'm not tech-savvy enough to make a note in the right place.
