Masto / Fedi Advice please!

On Desktop Mastodon's 'home' tab there is an overwhelming amount of general World information-too much somedays.
The 'Live This server' tab has only my local stuff-too little somedays.
The 'Live Other servers' tab is back to too much and seemingly a random selection.
Is there an easy way to have a feed which shows info from selected servers? eg my home one, my parent's local one and beige.party because that's reliably amusing?

If your main timeline (the home timeline of accounts you follow) is getting too crowded, you can use Lists to split it up into mini-timelines:

If you're wanting to follow the live feeds of other servers, there are apps which let you do this:

What I miss more is a way to group followed hashtags under lists, then have them not show under Home.

Hopefully there'll eventually be an easy solution to that... then again, I could just stick everyone else under a list instead...
