Aliexpress Searching Pro-Tip

Like many places aliexpress has made their search worse. It's cluttered with "promoted items" and it tries to second-guess.

What if you just want to see every product similar to one you are considering? (In particular those being sold at lower prices by sellers who have not paid to have their items promoted?)

There is an easy work around!

The next step is to click on the magnifying glass logo in the corner of the new window that pops up. The result is a search that returns all similar items! Now you can find the lowest price or find products with the exact features you want.

@futurebird@sauropods.win it must be detrimental to their success. Sure they may have increased sales, but return costs and loyalty just suffer.

If I search for a 20mm blue widget, they'll also show me 30mm blue widgets in the mix, which I may order by accident. Then I'll either need to do a return, or be annoyed enough to not visit again. It's frustrating at any rate.
