As the new year approaches, I can’t help but think of the huge difference between children around the world and mine.
Out there, kids start the year with gifts, warmth, and laughter
But here, my children begin the year in tents — surrounded by cold, hardship, and uncertainty
Al I wish for them isn’t much… just a little safety, a little warmth, and a glimpse of hope that better days will come.
