This is my second son, Qusai
His fever is very high right now, and I donβt know how to treat him or where to take him. We live in an isolated area, cut off from help, where children and families survive in tents and harsh conditions.
We have nothing but a small tent, and my heart cannot bear to see my children suffer like this.
We urgently need any help, even a little, to give our children a better life and to get them out of these harsh, inhumane living conditions.

The bombing continues, the destruction never stops,
and life in the tents is harsh and unforgiving.
Freezing cold, violent winds tearing everything apartβ¦
And weβre here with bodies worn out by hunger, fear, and pain.
If governments stay silent, people still have the power to speak the truth.
Be our voice. Stand with us.

Today was one of the hardest days since the war and displacement.
The wind almost tore our tent apart β and with it, my heart.
My husband and I tried to hold it up as the children slept, but the storm was stronger than us.
Water flooded our tent, soaked our bedding. We couldnβt do anything but pray.
In the middle of it all, my little boy said:
Alhamdulillah, Mamaβ¦ it couldβve been worse."
And in that moment, I knew β Iβm raising a brave heartπ

As the new year approaches, I canβt help but think of the huge difference between children around the world and mine.
Out there, kids start the year with gifts, warmth, and laughter
But here, my children begin the year in tents β surrounded by cold, hardship, and uncertainty
Al I wish for them isnβt muchβ¦ just a little safety, a little warmth, and a glimpse of hope that better days will come.
