I went downtown yesterday for dinner. I had been feeling blah in the afternoon at home, and so we went early, so we could walk around and I could take some photos.

We're standing in downtown montreal at night, looking through the big yellow ring through which you can look up the street and see the McGill campus and arts building. Further behind, we see the cross lit up on Mount Royal. Because we're all about laïcité here, and we don't like to see religious symbols displayed /s

Frère André. You can also see his preserved embalmed heart if you visit Saint Joseph's oratory while you're here. Today is Sunday but I took the photo on Saturday.
