Okay, great – I'm glad to hear that the high-speed rail proj will start by linking Ottawa and Montreal. Sounds like a good plan.
But: "The segment would be about 200 kilometres long and construction would begin in 2029."
Ugh! Where is the urgency? Are we going to do Ottawa's LRT thing again where we re-invent trains from scratch and have to learn how to make "wheels" and "doors" like they've never been made before?
And 3yrs prob means 5yrs until they break ground. Jeez.
