Fellow guitarists, please help me!
My neighbor has a #Fender #Stratocaster (made in Mexico).
Which size are the grub screws at the end of the strings (inside the small holes on the sides)?
I tried a 1 mm Allen key, but it's "huge".
Could it be a 0,70 mm (or a 3/64")?

@GustavinoBevilacqua@mastodon.cisti.org my 2008 Mexican Strat uses a 1 mm hex key, but it looks like the bridge is completely different; I looked it up and of course there's a whole world of different Fender bridges out there https://www.fuzzfaced.net/ponte-stratocaster.html , the one you posted seems like a "2 pivot, 1/16" string spacing", as found on "Classic Player (Made in Mexico)" strats
@GustavinoBevilacqua@mastodon.cisti.org I'm sure the interwebs have provided an answer, but the Mexico ones are usually M3 screws, the US ones #4-40. If the 1mm hex key doesn't work you have the imperial ones and need a 0.5mm key.
I can never tell what size I need so I have a small tray of all the ridiculously tiny hex keys to fish in.
@GustavinoBevilacqua@mastodon.cisti.org according to this .5mm is a possibility https://monsterbolts.com/blogs/news/guitar-saddle-height-screws
@GustavinoBevilacqua@mastodon.cisti.org I donโt have this guitar, but it looks like the standard itty bitty 0.05 hex key. One step smaller than 1/16โ. The wrench is so hilariously thin
@GustavinoBevilacqua@mastodon.cisti.org a question from the metric world : why do you say 3/64" and not 1/22" ?
@GustavinoBevilacqua@mastodon.cisti.org I take it you are adjusting the string height? How badly does it need a setup?

I don't know what my neighbor is trying to achieve, but it is always a pleasure to see a person who want to go beyond factory setup.
