@Rasta@mstdn.ca That happens. If you move instances, you usually download the various csv files, and then restore when on your new server. This includes those you follow. Not much good if you change without downloading the csvs though, sorry. I have blocked mastodon social in the past, deliberately so as it's like the wild west there. Good idea to follow @FediTips@social.growyourown.services for tips obviously.

Unfortunately there is no quick and easy way to restore the damage, and people on that server need to refollow you even after you've lifted the block.
This is something Mastodon needs to fix, it's way too easy to accidentally block an entire server. This has happened to so many people, it should have more steps so people realise exactly what they are doing before they do it.
