I really like Yan LeCun‘s Siren Song analogy. GenAI, mediocrity combined with hidden promises and ads can turn an entire generation into babbling idiots. Including their government.
Indirect advertising will be possible. Why not market NBA subscriptions and sports bets to a person asking an AI bot about fitness?
