It's difficult to test due to the long timescales, but there is no upper limit as far as I can tell. You can set any future date.

Bear in mind though that schedled posts won't be transferred if you transfer your account to another server. You might not be on the same server in e.g. 10 years time.

Yup, unless you reactivate the old account after you've moved. But your followers would all be on the new account so they wouldn't see it when it's published anyway.

Generally scheduling is used for reaching other time zones rather than into the far future though.
