so I think I at least subtly implied I broke up with my gf but I don't think I explicitly said so. so yeah, after 7y we had "the talk" and now we're just kind of living like roommates and it's actually been really good??? it feels like sisterhood, at least I think this is what sisterhood feels like. she even talks to me about the guys she's seeing and chatting with (at my invitation ofc) and it's honestly lovely to see, I'm really happy for her and proud of us for handling this the way we are. 
as for my search efforts, I've met some lovely creatures on the internet that I've been chatting with and loving on/with and it's been really fulfilling for me. hopefully one day I'll meet some nice creatures in dirtspace* but for now I'm at least not feeling as alone as I would have expected 
* if you live in northern California and wanna cuddle or something hmu 👀
