Hey, does anybody know what this means? These turn up periodically in my mentions. I'd assumed they were a notification obscured by a filter or something, but when I click on them, they just go away. No additional notification appears or anything.

(When I do block topics or people, I try always to click "Hide completely," not "Hide with a warning", & I think I always leave "Notifications" unclicked in Contexts.)

(Could this be a server-level filter?)

@cavyherd@wandering.shop @FediTips@social.growyourown.services I think it means the server hasn't fully loaded all mentions/notifications. I get that sometimes too. Clicking on it reloads the notifications. Usually it doesn't make any difference but sometimes new notifications appear.

Yeah, it means something still needs to load. You can pretty much ignore it, you will usually see the new stuff when you go back to a timeline where it has appeared.

Okay, thank you. Good to know. Maybe that'll shut up the compulsive "whatisitwhatisitwhatisit???" curiosity terrier in my brain.
