Mastodon has two different official web interfaces: single-column (default) and multi-column (advanced).
By default you will see the single column interface, but you can optionally switch over to the Tweetdeck-style multicolumn one if you prefer. This lets you view lots of timelines at once.
There are complete instructions on how to activate it at:

The guide also answers lots of questions about how to use it and customise it.

@FediTips@social.growyourown.services I am clearly having a senior moment but having read the instructions I cannot see how to add a new column. The guide seems to use "add" and "pin" interchangeably. If I click on a post it appears in the right most column but there are no arrows to pin it - only a back arrow. Halp π
This is what I see
@FediTips@social.growyourown.services And I remember when Tweetdeck was free, before the Musk and the Grok
@FediTips@social.growyourown.services I like multicolumn - thank you
@FediTips@social.growyourown.services @renato@fixionauta.net podemos agregar esta cuenta despuΓ©s a la lista de recs? solo con una nota de que esta en inglΓ©s
@FediTips@social.growyourown.services Is there a way to hide that first "post" column to stop it taking it so much screen real estate until I actually want to post? Even with an addon or plug-in? Such a waste of space!
@FediTips@social.growyourown.services Multi-column is the only way to go. Forget the app even.
