Got am unpleasant DM just now about an #Alt4you reply about a silly meme. Apparently it went astray on its packet switching journey.

“ What is this? If you need to be with the #AltText police at least get it right. (Or did someone delete their post that you were reacting to here?)

Kind of proud of myself for resisting the urge to just tell them to go fuck themselves.

If you see it as a scold that's your conscious talking to you. That you were nasty right out of the gate is also a you issue. A simple “hey | think you made a mistake this post isn't related would have been so easy. Why choose to be unkind to a stranger?

I don't know much about the inner workings of social media. I'd appreciate it if you would tell me why I'm seeing a private mention that's not to me. Is the "packet switching" or other essential part of the internet falling apart?

As far as I know, posts and messages that go astray are usually due to people tagging the wrong person?

Glitches sometimes happen. IRL My SS deposited into the account of someone with a different first name, routing number etc. One time the post office saved my 3 math vacation mail under a different first name.I had to shmooze my way into the back room & make them see that the sorting machine was screwing up. LoL 100s of letters
