Shdwdrgn@FediTips@social.growyourown.services Sorry if I missed this in one of your tips, one of the people I follow has been posting mainly on Bluesky lately but has a bridge to her account here on Mastodon (and I follow her Masto account). It seems like my server is blocking the Bsky bridge though, and I'm wondering if there's still a way to individually follow that account despite the block? Like would it work if I directly followed her Bsky account from here?

If your server has blocked another server, there is no way for you to reach that other server. Your server's admin may be held responsible for what ends up on their server, so they may block bad servers.
If you disagree with your server's blocking policy, you can move your account to a different server using the account transfer process (more info at https://fedi.tips/transferring-your-mastodon-account-to-another-server/).
Many servers have blocked Bsky lately due to its management's behaviour (e.g. https://social.growyourown.services/@FediTips/115396451982308613 ).
