What about people who want to connect with more local folks -- like they were in the bird-x-land? US-based people in the FDVS seem to be
mostly tech workers and people with a bunch of free time.
I'm on my second and a half instance but lost everything from the first instance and many followers. This instance is fine but I don't get a lot of interaction and it's not helping with our modern isolation problems and I have a pixelfed but similar lack of interaction or "being seen".
