Julian GonggrijpI would like to have a softer variant of muting, where someones toots will not appear in my timeline, but I can see their (private or public) mentions and otherwise interact normally with them. Somewhat like anti-following, if you get what I mean?

Fedi.TipsMuting and blocking are really important tools on Mastodon. Mutes hide someone from you without them knowing, whereas blocks totally cut off contact with an account and prevent interactions.
To mute or block someone, go to one of their posts or their profile page and click ⋯, then select "Mute" or "Block".
