PS its also why I enjoyed using the 1 dollar coin to use for the parking meters in Santa Cruz and Monterey.
Winter Daryl@ErikBussink@vmst.io I'd love it if we would just take the $1 bill out of circulation and force the shift to a coin. We should also stop circulating $0.01 and $0.05 coins.
Introduce a $2 and maybe even $5 coin. Then expand the bill denominations back up above $100 again.
But I'm just one citizen.
I will say after a lifetime of practice with our single bill size, it would be an adjustment to shift to differently sized bills. But it's a great idea, especially for those with visual impairments.
