I assume they’re trying to keep us safe by keeping us all awake?

I’m not surprised that when I cross reference this map of NPS parks in DC with the flight path of the NPS helicopter in my previous toot they basically don’t intersect at all. It’s like they’re trying to not fly over actual NPS land.

Even if you want to make the argument that there are a handful of tiny parks it flew over, I don’t think those parks justify ~$2000/hr flight cost of the helicopter.
